Hot and Spicy Schoolyard Shrimp – Guest Post for Creative Culinary

“Food is humanitarian: sharing it bridges cultures, making friends of strangers pleasantly surprised to learn how much common ground they ultimately share.” ―Anthony Beal

Food is how I met Barb, the creator of the amazing food blog-  Creative Culinary  .  She started The Front Range Food Blogger group for the local bloggers to get together and meet and talk about food, eat food, shoot food and make everything about food the biggest deal.  I met her and many other  talented local food bloggers. The journey to know them, learn from them and with them has been truly inspiring.

A few days ago, Barb asked me to fill in for her at her blog.  She is dealing with a lot of stuff right now and this is the least I could do to enable her to take a moment to breathe deep.   Along with prayers for her and her family, hop on over to her beautiful blog to enjoy the story behind why this dish is called the schoolyard shrimp and to get the recipe for this simple, yet delicious shrimp 65 dish.

Barb’s blog is the one stop blog for everything creative.  If cooking is not your thing, you MUST hop on over and read her Friday posts to get your sip on.  Amazing cocktails, breathtaking photos and wonderful content.

  1. Great post, Ansh! Sounds like I joined the group too late to try this great chicken dish of yours– I missed out! I am happy to have your recipe now, though, to try this with shrimp or chicken. Sounds great!

  2. I have always loved shrimp more than chicken…you know the trend might change right? From please please please bring some Schoolyard Chicken to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring some Schoolyard Shrimp.

Thank you my sweet friend…and what is this about a snow day accident? On your way to Santa Fe? Or? Hope all are OK.

    XOXO Barb

  3. Oh my gosh, you know how we all feel about your Chicken 65, so Shrimp 65 has to be even better says this gulf coast shrimp loving girl. I can’t wait to give this one a try. Great guest post Ansh.

I’m so sorry to hear about your snow day accident. So glad that you and yours are ok. I will be so glad when this winter is a memory. I’m just tired of the snow.
