Apple Sharlotka Bundt Cake


  • Ingredients
  • 3 medium granny smith apples peeled, and cut into medium pcs.
  • 4 large eggs yolks separated from whites
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • pinch of salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 350* F

  2. Beat egg whites to soft peaks then gradually add half of the sugar and whip until stiff

  3. beat the egg yolks with the remaining sugar until sugar is complete mixed in

  4. add in the vanilla and almond extract into the egg yolks

  5. Mix in the salt with the flour

  6. Fold in the flour into the egg yolks mix, then fold in the egg whites.

  7. In a properly greased bundt pan, layer the apples first, then scoop the batter over, making sure the pan is never more than 2/3 full.
