Mushrooms with Balsamic Vinegar


  • 1 C diced mushrooms
  • ½ C chopped scallions
  • some freshly ground black pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbs balsamic vinegar
  • ½ tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp oilve oil


  1. 1. Pan on medium heat, add oil. Saute the mushrooms until they get a light golden hue.
  2. 2. Add the garlic and saute some more. Ensure that the garlic does not overcook.
  3. 3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. 4. Add in the scallions and cook for a minute or until the green onions are slightly cooked.
  5. 5. Add the vinegar and cook until it reduces and coats the mushrooms.
