Chocolate and Red Current Oatmeal with Cholaca Chocolate

Oatmeal with chocolate makes a healthy breakfast that sounds and looks like an indulgence

  • 1 c rolled oats
  • 2 c water
  • 1/4 c cholaca chocolate wafers
  • 1/4 c red currants


  1. Bring the water to a boil in a sauce pan. Add the oats and str to mix.

  2. Once the oats softens and the thickens, add in the chocolate wafers.

  3. Stir to mix and switch off heat. Add in the currants just before serving, or on top if you don't like mushy currants.

Recipe Notes

You can use any fruits or nuts of your liking. I sometimes add a bit of cayenne to this to make it a warming meal on a cold winter day.
